The Retreat

Our writing retreats are not focused on teaching. Writers have their own private rooms and writing terrace area and are able to focus on their writing in a comfortable and peaceful setting. Informal support from the retreat facilitator and other writers is available. We create a friendly, welcoming environment and guests can benefit from the following local services:

Holistic Therapies and Beauty

Massages, reflexology, relaxation sessions, hairdressing and other treatments can be booked for guests either at the retreat or at the nearby El Duende artesan shop and vegetarian restaurant.

Editing Service

A private editing service is available to guests. The editor will provide constructive criticism of your writing. Payment for this service is separate from the cost of the retreat and must be booked in advance.

Walks

This is a great area for walking and hiking and there are lots of signposted walks in the area.

Library

There is a fully stocked library at the retreat with fiction, books on writing, dictionaries, Spanish books, magazines and journals.

Internet

Wireless broadband internet service is available at the retreat, but guests must bring their own laptops set up for wireless service. There is no technical support at the retreat. Access to printer, and spare laptop for accessing emails.
